The highest accolade for any sector is to be awarded by peers and even more so by a professional guild. The Great Taste Awards are organised by the Guild of Fine Foods, a prestigious guild of producers and retailers based in the UK. The awards are considered to be the “Oscars” of taste. Over 12.000 products compete every year, blind tasted and judged by about 450 judges over a period of 4 months. The guild sums is up perfectly, “Our winners are all genuine food people who care about the quality of food and drink they produce.”
